Artfully Sent Scrapbooking p. 49

I must confess I am more of a scrapbooker  than a cardmaker. The Pocket Card function key has a lot of ideas for scrapbooking.  I used the Thursday Friday card in this layout that I call a week in Paradise.  THursday pocket card can accomodate a 4 x5 picture and Friday a 4x4.

Artfully Sent p.49 part two christmas/winter theme

Top card  push the sleve function key cut at  5 1/2 they will fit a regular card.  This card forms a envelope that opens on the top.  I added a tab to make it easy to pull out the card.
Bottom card is cut at 5 1/2 sleeve function (shift)

Artfully sent Christmas/Winter Themed key p. 49 Part one

Top card is a scene card.  Each scene card has a sentiment.  I backed the sentiment with shimmer tape and a little bit of bling.  I cut this card at 7 inches but they also work great at 51/2.  There is an envelope with this key and a coordinating liner..   This one is cut at 5 inches which fit the 5x7 card perfectly, tomorrow I will cut one at 4 1/4.  The envelopes work best if you cut them out of the lightweight paper.  The snowman card was actually cut from a level one aspen kit.  It worked great because the white gave a base for the snowman.  Last card is a sentiment card I added shimmer tape and backed it with yuletide paper. Super fast card and elegant.  I cut it at 5 1/2 so it will fit a regular envelope.

Artfully Sent -Wow 3 more cards from the J key p.27

Top card is a Scene card they are quick and easy.  You will want to use  paper that is two sided and has a contrast. Hero card is consider a pocket card I used it as a sentiment for a crisscross card it is cut at 3 inches I backed mine and added coordinating paper.  I used the Wow as a sentiment for the inside of my card. I cut all the cards the size suggested in the booklet.

Artfully Sent Sleeve Cards -Buzz and Bumble

Another type of card on this cartridge is called a sleeve card.  The top card opens like a normal card the pattern of the cut out reminded me of a beehive so I broke out my retired Buzz and Bumble paper. The bottom card closes on the side and bottom leaving only the top open so I made a pocket  for a gift card .  I added a tab so it could easily be pulled out.  Both these cards are on page 27.  I cut both cards at 5 1/2 so they can be sent standard mail.  Top card is sleeve (j) shift, bottom card is sleeve (j)

Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge Challenge

I watched the Julia Childs movie how she made a every recipe in the book and then blogged about it.  Well I am attempting to do the same, except everyone knows I no longer cook so.  I am attempting to use every function and every key on the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge 700 icons in all.  So below are two of my first attempts.  If you would like to join.  Post your project the page and the function you have used.  Example the Card below is on page 27 (j) (shift) sentiment it is cut at 4.25 and it makes a 5x7 card.

Artfully Sent (j-key cards) It Super hero Sentiment Card

This card is made with the (j) key page 27.  It is a 5x7 card .  It look rather plain on the outside so I added the star and silver shimmer tape.  This is a fast card.  I lined the card with contrasting paper.  and used the extra cut out for the inside of the card.  Can be made in less than 10 minutes.

Super Hero Pop up Card

  • Super Hero Pop up Card/ Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge p. 27 (j)  Each key has a pop up card (50 in all) This pop-up card was plain on the outside so I cut the card with the sentiment function (j key) They lined up perfectly.  This is a 5x7 card if you prefer 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 just set the dial for 5 1/2.  I lined the sentiment with metalic paper I found at a garage sale and some silver shimmer tape.  The inside of the card is the popup (top picture) I cut out icon (Happy Birthday and his cape says super hero.

Love at first sight

Love at first sight
Ok I had a new crop a dile and I had to use it. The top of the page is stamp with soul mate D 1254 it has ribbon and two buttons to separate the lines The at the bottom under the love is a oval punch it has white eyelets in each end. I had left over chipboard which I inked with a cranberry ink pad.. Supplies used white cardstock , cranberry ink and cardstock, black cardstock . Ribbon is from the black collection z1034.

Use the scoring blade on your paper cutter every 1/2 inch to create the look of a brick wall. All CTMH paper is made with a white core. Use the sanding kit (z1294) . Sand until you have the desire texture add pictures and presto a simple page. that is a lot of fun. The little owl is from the stampset (c1323 whooo loves you). I used brads to add dimension to the owl.

Its a Jungle Out there

Its a Jungle Out there
Simple Layout using Expedition paper pack (x7082a) The picture I used is an 8X10 I matted it in autumn terracota which comes with the paper packet. I loved the picture but it was not the best and it was the only one so I lightened enlarged it . The best part of this layout I think is the letter, I inked them with a olive stamp pad (z2137) put eyelets(z171)at the top and bottom of the letters I stamped leaves in autumn teracotta and olive I paper pierced(z1114) a hole at the top of the leaves and ran hemp (z280) through the leaves and through the letters.

All in the family

All in the family
I used Good times level two packet (x7092b 12.95) I used the sweet leaf 12x12 paper I cut a 3x12 piece of the polkadot paper . I cut 2 (1/2 inch of the stripe one for the top the other for the bottom. At the top the stripe sets on top of the polkadot paper on the bottom it is underneath. I used different sizes of cricut fonts to add variety. I have been only scrapping for about 8 years, so I am very behind. I don't scrap in order. Those of you who know me, know I am as random as they come. In this picture it is of the same kids, but about 15 years later. This way I am using my pictures but not killing myself looking for perfect order.
